My personal take, that as of May 2009, in Ireland we are still in Denial, there is lots of 'rapid growth in 2010, 2011' stories still out there. Although I think we are *very* close to the fear part of the graph.

I will also go so far as to say that we will move from fear to desperation very fast. I think once the fear kicks in, it will spread like a zombie plague, as soon as everybody is afraid, and everyone you speak to says they are afraid, it seems only logical that people will move to desperation very quickly.
