Theme and Javascript

I made a slight adjustment to the theme on the site, there was fade effect on hover over any of the items on the page, but it was really annoying, so I got rid of it!

While checking that though, I noticed that in Safari, the front page doesn't load up the Javascript files. It's very strange. I don't have the time to investigate why right now, but if you notice in your browser that the homepage looks different to the other pages (no rounded corners, no hover effect colour change and no portfolio link appearing above all the content for the page) then let me know. I'm on my mac right now, so for all I know this is happening in Internet Explorer too... very strange.
